Holiday Booty

Whew- what a week. We drove to Virginia with snow still frozen to the hood of our car that was stuffed to the brim with presents, snacks and Elise. By the time we reached VA, the snow had melted, some of the presents were smashed up and Elise was still as chipper as ever. The trip was arduous, but well worth it- full of good eating, drinking, and much merriment! Our wonderful families were super accommodating of our nomadic habits, as we traipsed from house to house with luggage in tow. It was great to see everyone and to be a part of such lovely old holiday traditions- Christmas Eve with my Dad, Linda, and Brian, Christmas morning breakfast with Kjell's whole family, and Christmas afternoon with my Mom, Papa, Travis and Brittany et. al. There were even some new traditions; Midnight mass with Elise, Kjell, Karl and my Mom; Trash grabbing with T-Claw and PeePaw, and the fantastic Mekong dinner on the 26th. It was such a fun trip and we want to thank our families for making that happen!

On to what really counts, The Presents.

I am only highlighting the wonderful things that I got, I have no time for discussing other people's booty, only mine! HAHAHA! (not really, kjell got some awesome things including an office chair, external dvd burner and a brand new Macbook- Wha?!!! He did well, look how happy he is:

Papa also did well, he got a new bike, or rather trike- it's an all terrain tricycle! He's such a badass!

We'll take a pass on the sausage sending - save ours for the next time we can find a long weekend to travel to NYC. It was wonderful having you both here, and I'm glad you made the trip home safely. Have a very Happy New Year. Graduation in less than a month! Hooray!
